Ah, welcome, faces old and new! This is the deviantART group from the GaiaOnline breedables/RP shop Aershaa, the Bladewolves. We promote the fun of RP, of being creative, and of our wonderful members!

What are Aershaa, you ask? What is this place? Could it possibly be that you ask... what is RP? Well! We're here to tell you just that!

Aershaa, the Bladewolves is a long-time running Breedables shop here on Gaia. We are an RP-focused, friendly community in which one can come play the lives of Aershaa, Humans, and Furrs in the world of Dreyrull. We welcome - and hold - RPers of all levels, from simple sentences to paragraph upon paragraph of storyline. No one blinks twice if you write a lot or a little - all faces are friendly here! We're all about fun and being creative!

But it's not just about jumping straight into RP here. We are a talkative, active community, filled to the brim with enthusiastic players, ready to plot with your characters! All you have to do is speak up - it's that easy!

Now, what IS an Aershaa? What IS this Dreyrull place? Let's continue...

An Aershaa is a sentient, speaking winged canine creature from the world of Dreyrull. They come in 9 races, nearly all of whom can cross-breed: fire, water, air, dark, stone, ice, draian, light, and barren. But all of these races don't get along, sadly. The first three are of the Sunborn, celebrating the sun goddess S'feena. The second three are of the Moonborn, worshiping the god of the Universe, Khan. The final three are of the Dreyborn, some celebrating the goddess of the world, Draiah, and others agnostic or Athiest. Though most get along with the Dreyborn, or ignore their existence, the Sunborn and Moonborn have warred for hundreds of years. Currently, however, the greater enemy afoot is Mankind, wishing to re-enslave the aershaa race, an original act that aerkind has long forgotten. The barriers of religion are slowly, steadily weakening to ward off this new foe, but the barriers of class have risen: tame aershaa, wild aershaa, and reverted (that is, returned to the wild) aershaa do not get along as well as one would hope.

Aershaa have an ally, as well. The race of Furrs - that is, humanoid animals, also once genetically engineered by man - have formed a close union with aerkind. Many of these furrs form what is called a bond with an aershaa, literally sharing their thoughts and abilities with one another. When one scrapes their paw, the other feels it as well. When one cries, the other cries with them, even hundreds of miles away. It's an unbreakable union, and a beacon of hope in such dreary times.
